What is Bitway?
Bitway is a platform that takes deposits such as USDT and USDC into on-chain vaults and routes most of the funds to custodial accounts where managed yield strategies run. BTW is its governance and staking token, which gives holders boosted rewards, fee benefits and early access to products.

What Bitway actually does
Connects crypto deposits to professionally managed yield strategies, with BTW used for staking perks and governance.
- Real-world usage
- earlyThe yield product is live, but independent data on deposits and strategy performance are limited.
- Token necessity
- optionalDeposits and withdrawals work without BTW; staking it only adds perks.
- Decentralization
- centralizedStrategies are run by Bitway, deposits sit largely with custodians, and most BTW supply is not yet circulating.
- Track record
- newThe token launched in March 2026, giving it under a year of history.
What it’s used for
Users deposit stablecoins into Bitway Earn vaults on BNB Chain and receive voucher tokens representing their share. BTW holders can stake for boosted rewards, fee discounts and access to capped offerings; most BTW activity is trading.
Role of the BTW token:
Evidence of real use
- Bitway's docs say most deposited assets are moved to custodial accounts, including multisig wallets, regulated exchanges or third-party custodians, with standard withdrawals typically taking up to 7 days. Source

How Bitway works
Bitway describes itself as a bridge between on-chain capital and traditional finance-style strategies, a model it calls DeTradFi. You deposit a supported asset, such as USDT or USDC, into an audited vault contract on BNB Chain and receive a voucher token, such as bwUSDT, that tracks your share and accrued yield. Behind the scenes, most deposited funds leave the chain and go to custodial accounts where Bitway's strategy layer executes trades, which can include market-neutral approaches.
That structure means your returns and safety depend heavily on Bitway and its custodians rather than on smart contract code alone. A small pool of liquidity stays on-chain for withdrawals, which normally take up to a week unless you pay for a faster option. BTW sits on top as a governance and loyalty token: staking it can raise reward rates, lower fees and unlock limited offerings. The token has a 10 billion maximum supply, and only about a quarter of it was circulating in late 2026.
Key moments
- 2026Binance Wallet runs an exclusive Bitway Booster program and pre-TGE token sale ahead of launch.
- 2026BTW holds its token generation event and begins trading on Binance Alpha on March 2.
- 2026About 27% of the 10 billion BTW supply is circulating as of October.
Supply
BTW has a fixed maximum supply of 10 billion tokens, with roughly 2.7 billion, about 27%, circulating as of late 2026. The rest is allocated to categories such as the team, backers, ecosystem and rewards and is scheduled to unlock over time.
Risks to understand
- Deposited funds are largely held off-chain by custodians, so you rely on Bitway's operational and counterparty controls.
- Most BTW supply is still locked, and future unlocks can add selling pressure.
- Yield strategies can lose money, and withdrawals can take days.
- Bitway is not a US-regulated investment product, and protections that apply to bank or brokerage accounts do not apply.
