How the math works
Cost = buy price × quantity + buy fee. Proceeds = sell price × quantity − sell fee. Profit = proceeds − cost. The break-even price is the sell price where profit is zero once both fees are paid.
For taxes, your gain is usually proceeds minus cost basis. Read crypto taxes in the US.
