- If you contact us or subscribe, we use your details only to reply or to send the newsletter.
- We never sell personal information.
Information we collect
Information you give us: your name, email address and message when you use the contact form, and your email (plus optional interests) when you subscribe to The Trail Report.
Technical information: our hosting provider may log standard request data (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and reliability.
Stored in your browser only: course progress and short-lived price data are saved in your browser’s local storage. They never leave your device and you can clear them at any time.
Third-party services
Live prices load directly from CoinGecko’s API, which means your browser connects to CoinGecko and it receives your IP address. When the contact form is enabled, messages are delivered through Microsoft 365. When the newsletter is enabled, subscriptions are handled by an email service provider, named here at launch.
How we use information
To answer your messages, send the newsletter you asked for, keep the site secure, and comply with law.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe at any time and ask us to access, correct or delete your information by contacting us. Depending on your state, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act; we honor those requests.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We will update this page and its effective date if our practices change.
